Why is Pricing approximate?
-
We strive to provide potential clients with an accurate pricing schedule. However, some projects require extensive research and/or are considerably more time consuming than others. When you contact Paperweight Productions with the specifics of your project, a more accurate price quote will be given.
What is ‘Extensive Editing’ and why do you charge for it?
-
We understand that sometimes a client may want to change colors, fonts and placement of objects in a finished work. We’re happy to make these types of edits, and offer up to 30 minutes of ‘tweaking’ free of charge. When edits take more than 30 minutes to complete, we classify them as Extensive and charge a nominal fee for their completion.
If my edits are Extensive, do I still get the first 30 minutes free?
-
Yes you do! You are never charged for the first 30 minutes of edits. Anything over 30 minutes is billed a nominal fee of $18 per hour.
Do you offer Printing Services?
-
Paperweight Productions is a creative design firm. Unfortunately, we do not offer commercial printing services at this time. Projects may be transmitted electronically in a format you can print from your own computer, or we can work as a liason with your commercial printer.
Can you put my pictures or business logo on a project?
-
Of course. We’ll simply require an electronic copy and a signed release form.
I don’t have pictures. Can you provide them?
-
Certainly. We offer custom logo creation and cartooning services. If preferred, we can also provide stock photography for the project. Whenever possible, we use images with free commercial usage licenses. If we can’t locate a suitable image from our free sources, licensing fees may apply.
If I need to buy an image license, who gets the money?
-
You’ll need to negotiate licensing with the rightful owner of the photograph. Paperweight Productions does not assess service charges or licensing fees to images we don’t own.
Do I need to show the photographer’s name next to the photo?
-
Most of our stock photography sources don’t require a listed credit. However, if you choose an image from a photographer who requires attribution, then yes, proper credit is required.
